A world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and healthcare, Air Liquide has been pioneering the essential molecules oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen since its founding in 1902. In the Nordic region, Air Liquide's affiliates in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland operate as a single organisation of around 700 employees, serving close to 40,000 customers and patients. Thanks to strategically located production and filling sites, an efficient transport organisation and an extensive distributor network, the company delivers quickly and safely across all four countries — through more than 40 sites, 24 of them staffed — and generated over €260 million in revenue in 2025.

Sustainability sits at the heart of the company's strategy. Air Liquide invests in biogas, hydrogen and CO₂-reduction solutions to support the energy transition, and has developed its ECO ORIGIN range of low-carbon industrial gases. In Denmark, this commitment is reflected in landmark projects such as the ACCSION carbon capture and storage initiative in Aalborg (Carbon Capture facility to be Built Owned and Operated by Air Liquide alongside the Cement producer Aalborg Portland).
