To support its growth and strengthen its visibility, the school is seeking a passionate, creative, and committed Communications Officer.
Your mission
At the heart of school life, you are the voice, the face, and the link between the school and its community.
Your role is to promote Lycée Français Prins Henrik, share its daily life, highlight its projects, and build modern, smooth, and inspiring communication.
You lead internal and external communication, develop the school's reputation, and help unite students, families, staff, and partners around a strong and coherent identity.
Your responsibilities
Be the school's ambassador
- Represent Lycée Français Prins Henrik across all communication channels and materials
- Promote the school's image, values, and achievements
- Develop the school's visibility both locally and internationally
Lead internal communication
- Improve communication flow between management, teachers, staff
- Create and share clear, engaging, and accessible messages
- Manage and animate internal tools
- Support the Management team during key moments, changes, or sensitive situations
Build connections with families and the community
- Lead external communication aimed at parents
- Write newsletters, official announcements, surveys, and key messages
- Ensure consistent multilingual communication (French, English, Danish)
- Adapt messaging depending on the audience and the channel
Bring the school to life online
- Update and enrich the school website
- Develop a dynamic and engaging social media presence
- Share school life through storytelling, photography, and video
- Plan and coordinate posts using editorial calendars
Promote activities and events
- Promote events: open days, celebrations, educational projects, meetings
- Manage communication before, during, and after each event
- Create attractive content: visuals, videos, articles, interviews
- Work closely with teaching and administrative teams
Create modern content
- Design modern and up-to-date communication materials
- Produce and edit short, dynamic videos
- Master content creation tools: CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express
- Suggest new formats and keep up with digital trends
Shape the communication of tomorrow
- Contribute to the medium and long term communication strategy
- Propose innovative ideas to increase engagement and visibility
- Measure impact and continuously improve communication practices
Your profile
You have:
- At least 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or equivalent
- Excellent writing skills and a strong sense of effective messaging
- Very good command of French, Danish, and English
- Strong ease in multicultural environments
You are:
- Creative, curious, and proactive
- Comfortable with both strategy and hands-on execution
- Organized, with excellent interpersonal skills
