Announcement regarding the Danish-French of Commerce
As you might know the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce was founded 40 years ago, but until 10 years ago the Chamber was organized more as a business club than a chamber of commerce. In 2013, we decided to develop a new model converting the organisation into a real chamber of commerce by providing services, organizing a wide range of events and employing a director. At the time we were naturally curious and a little nervous about the success of this change. Step by step, thanks to the support of our partners, the two Embassies, Business France, and the support of our community members, the Chamber has developed its activities, its number of committees and its number of members. We would like to thank you a lot for your contribution to this fantastic achievement.
To once again boost our development and increase the number of events and services offered to our members, we have decided to recruit a new employee from today.
Emma van Leenen is our new Partnerships Managerand she will help us to improve the relation with our current members, develop new partnerships and strengthen the CSR Erasmus program which has been managed by the Chamber during the last year.
Emma might be familiar to some of you as she was an intern at the Chamber 7 years ago when she was a student at CBS, studying a Master’s Degree in Business and Development Studies.
After having finished her studies, Emma joined the Danish Embassy in Bruxelles and the Permanent Representation of Denmark in the European Union.
Here she was in charge of developing services for Danish companies, public affairs and business development on the BENELUX markets.
Emma speaks English, Danish, French and Dutch fluently.
