Blue March 2026: Servier Nordics’ Actions Against Colorectal Cancer
March is the Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a time for us to come together in support of those affected by this disease. At Servier Nordics, we deeply care about the fight against colorectal cancer, and Blue March serves as a heartfelt reminder of our unwavering commitment to patients and the vital importance of prevention efforts
This year, Servier Nordics will organize several internal and external activities throughout Blue March to inform and raise awareness in our communities. You can also contribute to raising awareness by wearing a blue ribbon. A simple gesture, but one with great meaning.
Colorectal cancer develops in the colon or rectum. Its incidence is steadily increasing due to aging populations and lifestyle-related risk factors. While this cancer is preventable to some extent, it still poses significant risks. A healthy diet, regular physical activity, and reducing alcohol and tobacco consumption may help lower the risk. Moreover, colorectal cancer can be treated effectively when detected early, making screening a powerful tool for prevention.
