Learning Expedition in Denmark: Sciences Po Executive Master RH in Copenhagen
In October 2026, the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce organised a learning expedition in Copenhagen for Sciences Po Executive Master RH.
From 7 to 9 October 2026, the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce organised a learning expedition in Copenhagen for 31 participants of the Sciences Po Executive Master RH. Over three days, the group explored the Danish labour market, the Danish management model, the Danish social model and HR practices in leading companies, through visits, talks and discussions with Danish and French executives.
A three-day study trip to Copenhagen
Day 1: Understanding Denmark at the French Embassy
The learning expedition opened at the French Embassy in Copenhagen. Representatives of the Embassy's Economic Department and Business France Denmark gave an overview of the Danish economy and business environment. The Danish-French Chamber of Commerce presented the Danish education system, and a former CEO of Hempel shared his experience of working in Denmark. The Ambassador of France to Denmark closed the afternoon, followed by a certificate ceremony.
Day 2: Danish HR and management in practice
The group met Dansk Metal at BLOXHUB to learn about social dialogue and collective bargaining in Denmark. Company visits followed at Carlsberg and L'Oréal Nordic, with discussions on people and culture and on the Danish management model. The day ended at the Institut français du Danemark with EcoTree, a company with CSR at the core of its business.
Day 3: French and Danish leadership, side by side
At BLOX, executives from Scandlines and AFYX Therapeutics compared French and Danish leadership cultures, in a panel moderated by Sciences Po Executive Education. ECCO then presented how it manages product compliance, environment, health and safety across its global value chain. The expedition ended with a debrief.
