New measures against coronavirus - March 17th 20:00
To contain the coronavirus, the government will introduce tomorrow at 10AM and until 30th of March the following measures:
- No more than 10 people will be allowed to gather at public events - either outside or inside. The government calls for compliance with the ban at private events as well.
- A large number of shops, businesses and malls must close. This applies to shopping malls, gyms, tanning salons, hairdressers, tattoo artists, nightclubs, bars, hookah cafés and other stores where people come into close contact with each other.
- Restaurants, cafés and diners must also close. However, they will still be allowed to do take-away.
- Grocery stores will remain open. However, the requirements for them have become more strict: customers must be able to wash their hands and use hand sanitiser in the store, and there must be a good distance between each customer.
- Other food stores and drug stores will also remain open.
