Danish-French Cup 2025
The 5th of September the Chamber organized the 9th edition of its annual Danish-French Cup at Brøndby Stadium.
For this football tournament wewelcomed 15 teams, a record we reached last year and continued again this year!
This year, and for the first time in the history of our annual football tournament, it was a rainy day, but the sport spirit and the competitiveness of the 150 players allowed us to enjoy this team-building event in a joyful atmosphere.
Two tournaments were organized in parallel, the Champions League and the Friendly League.
7 teams competed in the Champions League tournament:
- Femern Link Contractors
- BNP Paribas Arval
- Duuo
- Schneider Electric
- L’Oréal
- Njord Law Firm
- Alstom
Njord Law Firm won the tournament for the second time in a row with a victory over Alstom in penalty shoutout in the final. Femern Link Contractors won the bronze medals over BNP Paribas Arval.
8 teams played in the Friendly League:
- 360 Law Firm
- Schneider Electric
- Lead Rödl & Partner
- Legrand
- Moët Hennessy
- Saint-Gobain with two teams
- TotalEnergies
This league was won for the second year in a row by one of the Saint-Gobain teams, their second victory after participating every year. Congratulations to them for this second victory and maybe the beginning of a long series. Lead Rödl & Partner finished 2nd and TotalEnergies 3rd.
4 years ago, the Chamber signed a partnership with EcoTree in order to plant a tree for each goal scored. In total this year the teams have scored around 450 goals so as many trees will be planted! In 4 years the teams have planted more than 1.000 trees! The forest is growing year by year.
After the tournament, we had a ceremony in the magnificent Michael Laudrup lounge to award the winners.
The day was concluded by a dinner where the wine was offered by Les Grands Chais de France, thanks a lot for your constant support.
