New company member - Renault Trucks
We are very happy to welcome Renault Trucks as a new member of the Chamber!
Renault Trucks is a historic truck manufacturer with roots dating back to the end of the 19th century, with a proud French heritage rooted in cities such as Lyon and Boulogne-Billancourt and a long tradition of incorporating several iconic brands and technologies that have shaped its strong market position. Since 2001, Renault Trucks has been part of the Volvo Group, contributing significantly to the group’s global presence.
In Denmark, Renault Trucks has a dedicated local team covering sales, marketing, product quality, logistics, and technical support. The Danish organization ensures close customer relations and local expertise. The company has a strong industrial presence in France with facilities handling everything from R&D and the manufacturing of engines and electric trucks to vehicle customization and remanufacturing of used parts.
In 2024, Renault Trucks employed 9,400 people and delivered 70,000 vehicles. With more than 1,400 sales and service locations across over 150 countries, the company has a solid global reach. More than 1,000 electric trucks are already on the road, positioning Renault Trucks at the forefront of sustainable transport development.
With a clear focus on green transition, the company aims for 50% of truck sales to be electric by 2030 and for the entire fleet to be fossil-free by 2050 — in line with the Paris Agreement. Renault Trucks offers solutions for a wide range of transportation needs, including long haul, distribution, construction, and light commercial vehicles.
