Steen Hommel

Executive Vice President, Government & Partnerships
Terma

Steen Hommel is Executive Vice President for Government and Partnerships at Terma, Denmark's largest defence and space company. Before joining Terma in August 2025, he spent 27 years with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, most recently five years as COO and State Secretary for Trade and Investment. Earlier in his career he was Director of Invest in Denmark and Danish Ambassador to Poland. He is a (non-active) Army Captain and holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.

Terma is Denmark's largest defence and space company, with more than 2,300 employees working across aeronautics (including as a supplier to the F-35 programme), mission systems (radars and C2 software), space, and enabling technologies such as cybersecurity, AI and quantum. It takes part in major NATO, EU and European Space Agency programmes.

Thomas Ostermann

Director of Partnerships & Industrial Cooperation
Thales Denmark

Thomas Ostermann is Director of Partnerships and Industrial Cooperation for Thales Denmark. Before joining Thales in May 2026, he spent 17 years in various roles, primarily as a career diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as a civil servant within the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Intelligence Service. His work has centred on foreign, security and defence policy. He has been posted abroad four times, including two tours in Helmand, Afghanistan, and holds a Master of Laws.

Thales is a global leader in advanced technologies across defence, aerospace, and cyber and digital. It invests 4.5 billion euros a year in research and development in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, quantum and cloud, employs more than 85,000 people in 65 countries, and generated sales of 22.1 billion euros in 2025.

Thierry Legendre

Partner & Managing Director
AC Defence

Thierry Legendre has been Partner and Managing Director of AC Defence in Copenhagen since July 2021. He was previously Public Affairs Director at Rud Pedersen and spent nearly two decades as a civil servant at the Danish Ministry of Defence. He also served as Defence Counsellor at Denmark's Permanent Representation to the EU and as Policy Adviser in the private office of the NATO Secretary General, and earlier as Political Adviser in Sarajevo under the High Representative. He holds a Master's degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen and a French Baccalaureat.
