Dear members,

On May 4th we were happy to celebrate the 40 years anniversary of the Chamber. And what a celebration. The highest number of participants ever, an exhibition, where 14 of the most important companies on the Danish and French markets presented their history and activities, and for the first time a representative of the French government as the main speaker of the evening.

Thank you to Olivier Véran for showing the importance the French government attaches to the Chamber, to the 14 companies and the sponsors of the evening for taking active part in this celebration, to our director Samuel Vaillant for the immens work to make this happen, to our Ambassador Christophe Parisot for attracting the attention of the French government to the event, and to all of you who make the Chamber a success.

This success is however also a Challenge. A Challenge to move on in promoting the Franco-Danish commercial and industrial relations, make more and more undertakings aware of the opportunities on the two markets, help cross frontier cooperation, and assiste the companies and individuals, who decide to establish themselves in the other country, in making it a success.

The last 10 years have seen the raise of an unprecedented dynamism in the economic relations between our two countries, the new Dual Tax Convention adds to this dynamism and open new doors.

The future is there! Let’s just get on with it.
