VIP Dinner with new French Ambassador to Denmark and new Leadership team
On Wednesday 23 September, we hosted a lovely dinner to welcome the new French Ambassador to Denmark, David Bertolotti.
On Wednesday 23 September, the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce hosted a dinner to welcome H.E. David Bertolotti, Ambassador of France, to his new post in Denmark and to solidify our new chairmanship at the Chamber.
H.E. Ambassador spoke to the guests during the dinner, and started out in Danish! A sure way to win the hearts of the Danish. He then continued to emphasise the opportunities for collaboration between our two countries, the increasing interest in many sectors and the wish to fervently support the French community here in Denmark.
The evening was also an opportunity for our new President, Thomas Norman Canguilhem, Co-Founder and CEO of Ecotree, as host to give some insight into his presidency, the objectives for the coming years and to emphasise the commitment to supporting the Danish-French business network.
A new Ambassador and a new President at the same table felt like the right way to open a new chapter for the Chamber.
Thank you to all 40 of our guests for joining us (the dinner was fully booked), to Ambassador Bertolotti for his support and introduction, and to Thomas for guiding the evening. And a big thank you to the team at Bryggen Guldsmeden for a fantastic dinner in beautiful surroundings.
