Schneider Electric now has a member of the Government's Energy Commission
The Danish Government has an Energy Commission which aim to help Denmark to meet its international climate commitments. At the beginning of 2017 the Energy Commission is expected to publish a comprehensive report with recommendations to the Danish energy policy. Schneider Electric's VP Søren Eriksen is now a member.
The Energy Commission is to answer a number of questions within five themes :
1- The Danish energy system's strengths and weaknesses
2- Cost-effective fulfillment of international climate commitments
3- A cost-effective European energy market
4- A future integrated energy
5- Denmark as a technological pioneer
The Energy Commission has almost a year to prepare proposals for the energy policy in Denmark for the period 2020-2030.
