The impact of COVID on the retail industry
On Wednesday the 6th of October, the Chamber organised yet another conference, this time about the retail industry and the effects of COVID-19. Multiple periods of lockdown, and other challenges during the sanitary crisis, has taken its toll on many industries and especially retail - how has this been and what lies ahead?
We would like to thank our two speakers, Pia Laursen, General Manager in the Nordics and Netherlands at Simone Perele and Rahel Quirant, Retail Director at SEPHORA Scandinavia. They both educated us all on how the retail industry has handled COVID, through telling us their experiences and challenges with working in retail during this troublesome period. They have had to be innovative and adaptive throughout, new trends are emerging and the industry has changed as a consequence. Thank you so much for speaking!
