The Women of Influence Awards

We are pleased to announce that Sofie Irgens, CEO and Country President Schneider Electric Denmark, has been awarded the 2025 Women of Influence Coup de Cœur Award, one of France’s most prestigious distinctions celebrating female leadership.

The Women of Influence Awards, held for over a decade at the renowned Musée de l’Homme in Paris and supported by Challenges magazine, honour women whose achievements and leadership contribute positively to their economic and social environment.

This year, in the context of Denmark’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the selection committee wished to spotlight an exceptional Danish woman. Following the recommendation of the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce, Sofie was selected in recognition of her remarkable career as the head of Schneider Electric Denmark. Her strong commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth perfectly embodies the values that the award aims to promote. Sofie has been awarded in the presence of the Danish Ambassador to France, Hanne Fugl Eskjær, and the Minister Delegate to the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, responsible for la Francophonie, International Partnerships and French Citizens Abroad, Eléonore Caroit.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Sofie for this well-deserved honour.

You can find more information about the prize via this link (in French) and a video of the ceremony organized yesterday in Paris (video in French, Sofie's award from 1:03:00 to 1:15:15).

Best regards
The Danish-French Chamber of Commerce
