WoCom Pink October 2025
On Monday the 27th of October the Women’s Committee had a meeting at the magnificent French Embassy in the Palace of Thott in Copenhagen.
We discussed our main events of the fall season: the Gala dinner, including the fact that this year we are organising a full day of conferences before our annual Gala dinner. We talked about the nominees for the Women’s Committee award, another newly introduced topic this year. We went through the nominees’ achievements in their work to elect the winner for this years' award. As always, we really enjoyed gathering and networking within the committee and talking about news and the upcoming events - including our next Women’s Committee. Thanks to Chairwoman Anita for leading the meeting.
After this meeting, we had the chance to be included in the Pink October reception organised by the French Embassy. Thanks to the donations and the raffle tickets sales, the French Embassy was able to collect 18.693 DKK for Kræftens Bekæmpelse, an organisation that fights against breast cancer.
Thank you to our members for their presence, both at the Women’s Committee meeting and the Pink October reception, and for your donations to the raffle. Also a big thank you to Corinne Parisot-Chautemps and Christophe Parisot for the invitation and as well for the organisation of this important event which highlights a great cause: fighting breast cancer, and working to prevent and discover it quickly. Thank you to all the Embassy staff who worked on this successful event.
