ESCP Business School visit

The Danish-French Chamber of Commerce and Business France had the pleasure of collaborating in the organization of a visit to Copenhagen by ESCP Business School and students from the IoT specialization. The visit was a 3-day learning expedition centered around IoT specialization, from the 4th to the 6th of March.

The first day was spent at the French Embassy, courtesy of H.E. Madam Ambassador Caroline Ferrari. Here, the students were welcomed by several speakers, first was Steen Bocian, Editor and Chief Economist at Børsen, followed by Allan Ehrenreich Mortensen, Senior Advisor at Dansk Industri. After a classic Danish lunch at Restaurant Pilekælderen, the presentations continued with Kennet Jahn Andersen, CEO of IoT Denmark A/S and Daniel Bachmann, CEO of OCUTUNE.

The day was concluded with a glass of wine and departure for the hotel.

The second day begun at Copenhagen Fintech Lab, with an introduction by Mads Tingsgård, Head of Fintech Intelligence. Afterwards, the students were introduced to a Norwegian startup company named Tjommi, introduced by CEO, Henrik Johannessen and CMO, Sebastian Haugeto.

Then Jacob Thuren Falkenham, Senior Vice President, Head of Digital Information and Regulatory Programs at Danske Bank, held a video-presentation for the students.

After another wonderful Danish lunch, this time at Ravelinen, the group were driven to Doll Living Lab, where Jens Hammer, Living Lab Cordinateur, presented and took us on an interesting tour of the facilities. The last visit of the day was at Schneider Electric, where Jens Ellevang, Facility & Event Manager and Niels Boel, Channel Director, presented and took the students on a tour of the premises.

The last day was again at the French Embassy. The first presentation was done by Hans Benedict Ahlefeldt-Laurvig, Process Automation, Solution Sales at Atos Denmark and Claus Larsen, Country Manager at Atos Denmark. Then CEO & Founder of OMNIO, Mikkel Christian Sørensen presented his company. The last presentation was done by Christophe Lephilibert, Head of Growth at Barry. After the presentations the group had time to explore Copenhagen before going on a boat tour and then heading to the airport.

The days went by quickly with a very interesting and packed program. A big thank you to all the speakers for giving us their time and thank you to the French Embassy and H.E. Madam Ambassador for your hospitality.
