The return of geopolitics: change, threats and opportunities
This year has profoundly revived geopolitics on the international scene, and it is a topic that weighs heavily on a lot of peoples’ minds. Therefore, the Chamber was delighted to welcome more than 60 participants to the French Embassy in Denmark earlier this month for a conference on the topic: “The return of geopolitics: change, threats and opportunities”.
The conference was held by the new French Ambassador, Christophe Parisot, who arrived in Denmark a few weeks ago. Christophe Parisot comes from a position as advisor on European affairs to the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and we are most grateful to Mr. Parisot for welcoming us at the Palais Thot and sharing his view of the current geopolitical situation.
The presentation was followed by an interesting question round and a networking cocktail, where the debate and exchanging of thoughts continued. We want to say a big thanks to Les Grands Chais for the lovely wine and to Éloïse Blaise from “Kagerlighed” who had prepared delicious finger foods – both savoury and sweet.
