The visit of the TotalEnergies office YDFCC

On Wednesday November 10th 2021, the Young Danish-French Chamber of Commerce organized a conference at TotalEnergies’ Copenhagen office revolving around the company’s ongoing strategic transition and climate change.

The guests were welcomed by the consultant responsible for the Young Chamber, Elena Kremenchugskaya, who informed the guests about the objectives and the setup of the Young Chamber.

Afterwards, the conference began with Christina Heineke Petersen, Head of Country Services, who presented TotalEnergies as a multi-energy company, followed by Siri Behrens-Nielsen, Public Affairs Manager, who explained the new ambition and climate strategy.

TotalEnergies has for several decades been an international oil & gas company, but during the previous years has altered part of their business activities to focus on renewable energy sources and alternative solutions. This transformation, symbolized in the name change and new logo, is in order to fulfill its ambition as a broad-energy company  and to better incorporate the UN sustainability goals, help mediate the effects of climate change, and become a more responsible business.

After the conference had come to a conclusion, including questions from the audience, an interactive Energy Quiz had been arranged by Liliana Sanchez,Communications Advisor & Project Manager. Three winners were announced and received presents from TotalEnergies. After this friendly competition, TotalEnergies kindly offered all participants food and refreshments as a basis for some networking conversations. Thank you for this.

Thank you so much to both our speakers, Cristina Heineke Petersen and Siri Behrens-Nielsen, for representing TotalEnergies and enlightening the audience about your company and the interesting transition you have embarked on.

A great thank you to the participants and to TotalEnergies for a delightful evening.
