Journée des Nouveaux Arrivants
Every year, the Danish French Chamber of Commerce welcomes French newly arrived expats to Denmark with a day of networking and information.
This year was no exception, and Saturday the 2nd of September thus marked the 2023 edition of “La Journée des Nouveaux Arrivants”.
This very special event was hosted at the French Embassy in the heart of Copenhagen, where the Ambassador and his family proudly welcomed their compatriots to the Danish capital.
After having enjoyed a breakfast à la française, with croissants, pains aux chocolats, coffee and orange juice, a large variety of French organizations came to the Embassy to present the opportunities and benefits they offer.

Thank you to the representatives from all the organizations for your engagement and commitment!
As the first part of the program came to an end, the attendees were invited along to a Copenhagen tourist-classic: A boat trip of the Copenhagen Canals! Passing by everything from the Little Mermaid to the Opera and Christiansborg, the group got to see a small but beautiful glimpse of their new city.
Finally, as the boat found its way back to the harbor, the group was invited to go to Kongens Have where they enjoyed a picnic and finished the day of with introductions and networking.
