ESG Committee visit to Dansk Retursystem

On Tuesday 21st of January the ESG Committee had its first event of the year, where they organised a visit to Dansk Retursystem A/S in Taastrup. Hanne Svenningsen, Head of Environment and Climate, welcomed the committee and the French Ambassador to Denmark Christophe Parisot.

Hanne introduced the history of DRS as well as their mission and key figures, showing how efficiently the pant-system and collection of bottles, cans etc., functions. The presentation was followed by a guided tour of the premises with explanations of the treatment of different types of containers as well information about sustainable packaging guidelines.

Thank you very much to Hanne for welcoming us, and to Thomas Canguilhem, CEO of EcoTree and Chairman of the ESG Committee, for the organisation.
