French Newcomers Day 2025

For the 12th year in a row the Chamber of Commerce organized a Newcomers' Day to welcome new French expatriates to Denmark.

Nearly 100 people were here for this wonderful event, which took place this year at one of our member’s offices. Thank you very much to Njord Law Firm and their great employees for their warm welcome - and the fantastic view from their offices.

Once again this year, we were delighted to see the number and diversity of people who had recently arrived in Denmark: VIEs, students, expatriate families, entrepreneurs, all from different walks of life. The Franco-Danish network is growing richer every year thanks to them.

We began the morning at the Njord Law Firm rooftop, where the Ambassador welcomed our guests. Then each association, organization and institution presented each their activities.

Many thanks to the Ambassador and Madam the Consul for their introductions, as well as to all the associations, institutions and organizations for their presence and presentations.

The group then gathered in Kongens Have for a pleasant picnic, where everyone had a chance to introduce themselves and develop their network.

It was a lovely day and the weather was beautiful - as the group then took the traditional guided boat tour to discover the city of Copenhagen.

We hope that all the participants enjoyed this wonderful day and will help them to establish themselves more easily and quickly in their new country.
