Groupe Alternance Learning Expedition in September 2025
From the 23rd to the 25th of September, the Chamber organized a Learning expedition for Groupe Alternance, a business school in Limoges, France. We welcomed two classes: one oriented in Business management and the other in Human Ressources. You can find a short description of the weeks program below.
Day 1: Introduction to Denmark at L’Institut Français, and meeting Groupe Bel and Saint-Gobain
The first day began with an introduction to Denmark’s macroeconomic landscape, the main sectors in Denmark and an introduction to Danish culture. We discuss also about the Danish education to have a better understanding of the Danish society. The students also discovered the operations of Groupe Bel in the Nordics. After this enriching morning, we met the Saint-Gobain team, who introduced the company, their activities in the Nordics and their personal professional background.
Day 2: Presentation of the VIE program and visit to L’Oréal HQ
The second day started with a presentation of the International Corporate Volunteering program where Business France presented the advantages for people who want to start an international career. It was interesting for the students to have a feedback experience from a former International Corporate Volunteer that now works here in Denmark on a local contract. The group then visited L’Oréal HQ to learn about Human Resources challenges in the Nordics within a multinational such as L’Oréal, the company culture, as well as a personal experience as an expatriate in Denmark.
Day 3: Meeting with EcoTree and presentation of Novo Nordisk
The final day we started with a presentation of EcoTree and the group had the chance to ask and discuss about sustainability and how the EcoTree business model helps companies have a positive impact on this important topic. The group then discovered Novo Nordisk, a Danish pharmaceutical company specializing in the treatment of diabetes, obesity and other diseases and their activities as the first market capitalization in Europe.
We would like to thank l’Institut Français for welcoming us to present Denmark to the students, all our member companies for their presentations and the students and teachers of Groupe Alternance for their presence and interest in Denmark.
