Supply Chain Committee visit @ L'Oréal Distribution Warehouse
On Wednesday May 13, the Danish-French Chamber Supply Chain Committee had the great opportunity to visit L’Oréal’s distribution warehouse in Greve with a guided tour of the premises.
The visit thoroughly went through safety rules and precautions, daily operations and employee welfare - particularly in terms of psychological welfare and ergonomic working conditions. The visit also gave an insight into the state-of-the-art machines and the adaptation of their procedures to make the physical work as easy on the body as possible - also when this means a decrease in productivity.
Lastly, the tour ended with a view of the biodiversity efforts on the grounds outside, including beekeeping with ByBi and assisting birds and other wildlife with homes and food.
