WoCom @ L'Oréal HQ
On Monday the 10th of September the Women’s Committee had a breakfast meeting at the beautiful L’Oréal HQ in Copenhagen, hosted by Anna Weste, CEO of L'Oréal Nordics.
It was an excellent opportunity to gather around interesting topics, exchange ideas, and discuss the challenges of diverse hiring (including the attraction of men) in a worldwide beauty company such as L’Oréal but also their tailored training program to develop the talents within the company. L'Oréal's diligent approach to both hiring, skill mapping and personal development was both interesting and impressive. Additionally, one of the L'Oréal brands, La Roche Posay, introduced their brand cause of working to fight skin cancer and to help spread awareness and relief for patients. We appreciated the thoughtful contributions from all participants and look forward to the next meetings. It was also a great opportunity to discuss news within the network, the upcoming annual Gala dinner of the Chamber and all of the many other events of the fall.
