International Women's Day Conference and Networking

On Thursday, March 12, the French-Danish Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of celebrating International Women’s Day 2026 with an inspiring conference hosted by 360 Law Firm in Copenhagen.
Under this year’s theme, “Give to Gain - Collaboration, generosity and empathy as drivers of lasting change,” the evening brought together leaders from entrepreneurship, business and philanthropy to explore how collective action can accelerate gender equality.
The evening opened with welcoming remarks by Mette Gade, CEO of 360 Law Firm, on the importance of the rule of law for women’s rights historically and the importance of our continued fight for justice in general. This was followed by an introduction from Marine Landais, Diplomat and Deputy Head of Mission at the French Embassy in Denmark, who highlighted the importance of taking an interest in, and ownership of, finances - both personal and in society - as well as how collaboration can advance gender equality.
Setting the scene for the panel session, Gina Perier, CEO & Founder of Lapee, highlighted how everyday inequalities still shape women’s experiences in public spaces and beyond. Her perspective showed how innovation can address overlooked needs and transform equality from an abstract ideal into practical solutions.
During the panel discussion, Christina Sjøberg Heineke Petersen, Managing Director & Head of Country Services at TotalEnergies, shared insights on the importance of equal parental leave as a powerful lever for gender equality and stronger leadership pipelines.
Elodie Montagne-Moulis, Secretary General of the Pierre Fabre Foundation, brought a global perspective, emphasizing the persistent barriers women face in many parts of the world and the importance of cross-sector collaboration to create sustainable change.
Together, the speakers explored the gap between ambition and reality, and what “Give to Gain” means in practice: how generosity, empathy and collaboration can translate into concrete actions that benefit organisations, societies and economies alike.
A big thank you to our inspiring speakers for sharing their experiences and insights, and to Marine Landais for opening the evening with her thoughtful introduction. Thank you as well to Anita Wagner Feddersen, member of the Chamber board and Chairwoman of the Women’s Committee, for moderating the evening’s conference.
Our sincere thanks as well to 360 Law Firm for generously hosting the event, and to all the partners who helped make this inspiring evening possible.
The conversations continued during a networking cocktail, with wine kindly sponsored by Ladegourdie Vinimport.
