Young Chamber Galette des Rois Celebration at Copenhagen Business School

The Young Danish-French Chamber of Commerce (YDFCC) had the pleasure of hosting a Galette des Rois celebration at Copenhagen Business School, bringing together around 40 students and young professionals for an evening dedicated to French tradition, cultural exchange, and networking.
The event opened with a welcome address by two members of the Board of the Young Danish-French Chamber of Commerce, who presented the association, its mission, and the objectives of the evening. This introduction highlighted the role of the Young Chamber in fostering Franco-Danish connections and supporting young professionals and students in Denmark.
This was followed by presentations from two members of the French Culture Students Organisation, who shared valuable insights into student life at Copenhagen Business School. Their presentation covered the experience of studying at CBS, as well as a broader overview of what it means to be a student in Denmark, providing useful information for current and prospective students, as well as anyone interested in learning about university life in Denmark.
After the presentations, participants gathered to enjoy the traditional Galette des Rois, accompanied by the well-known custom of having the youngest participant sit under the table to assign the pieces of cake. This moment, rooted in French tradition, created a relaxed and convivial atmosphere and encouraged interaction among attendees.
The evening offered an excellent opportunity for networking between French and Danish students and young professionals, strengthening ties within the Franco-Danish community in Copenhagen.
The Young Danish-French Chamber of Commerce would like to warmly thank its partner Les Grands Chais de France for generously providing the wine that accompanied the galettes.
We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event.
